The bottom line here is that trying to make an equivalence between pixel based and font size based values will be unreliable. many others that I can't think of right now most fonts are proportional ones, meaning that, generally, 1 is thinner than 0, and i is thinner than m, so this makes the getting things "on the same page", so to speak, even more cumbersome than it already is This might be a string the skin retrieves from a website with the WebParser plugin, or any string value that represents a date and/or time defined for the option. the spacing around the visible part of a font glyph vary widely between fonts, so whatever you get for one font will almost certainly not be true for another TimeStamp can be any formatted date and/or time string. in addition to the above, font sizes are integer, while your scaling multiplication will produce fractional values as well, so basically the font size will be an approximation (because of fractional values) of another approximation (because of the pixel vs point issue described above) while scaling the position and size of the elements in a skin via multiplying with the scale variable is the right way to do it, this will not always produce the desired effect when it comes to text, simply because the pixel size of a font (which scaling is based on) doesn't perfectly follow the point size of it (which is specified in the FontSize option) proportionally speaking The bigger and bold font of the clock will make your desktop a bit more. The skin is easily configurable through the Settings panel. You can place it anywhere on your desktop. it would have been nice if you provided the names of the fonts used in the screenshots, so we could replicate the things you saw This skin displays you time and date on your desktop screen in bold and bigger font size. InlineSetting9=Shadow | 2 | 2 | 3.5 | #FontEffectColor# Is it possible through the InlineSetting? (so as not to make other Meters that don't contain only those values) And good to be able to make the am/pm and seconds text disappear. It works fine but the AM/PM text can't be scrolled higher (or at least I didn't know how to do that). I made some tweaks to the code you gave me to adjust the fonts and colors to the corresponding parameters. Also will have to play with the InlineSetting10 option, to create a proper shadow effect, because the effect available through InlineSetting is much sophisticated, than the one controlled by the FontEffect option. Most probably you have to alter the X value of this meter, in order to get it positioned to the right place. (hope I didn't forget something - if I did, please let me know what did I) InlineSetting10=Shadow | 2 | 2 | 3.5 | #FontEffectColor# The possibilities of the program are limitless and the number of ready-made skins is also difficult to count.Code: Select all. Some are designed to show the time or the weather, others will help to find out the load on RAM or CPU, and still others will play an exclusively cosmetic role at all - they will show some kind of image gallery or beautiful animation. They have completely different functionality and can fulfill any purpose. Rainmeter skins are variants of gadgets (widgets) that fit on the desktop. But not only in their work, but also in the skins. Rainmeter can be used on almost any version of the operating system. It opens up access to a huge number of functions and higher on the head of standard gadgets for Windows 7. Long before the advent of Windows 10/11, Rainmeter was one of the most popular programs among customizers. But users are not used to losing something good and therefore actively use analogues. Standard gadgets have unconditionally left modern versions of Windows OC.
